Luckily she had a sense of humor was a group exhibition with six artist from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
It was shown at Gallery Myymälä2 in Helsinki in October/November 2009 and at Oro gallery in Gothenburg January 2010
The artists Anna Daniell, Jamila Drott, Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen, Anna Rokka, Emma Tryti and Marthe Berger Walthinsen
s works are different visually and technically but share the same sense of playfulness. They all collect fragments from media, Internet, popular culture and then transform it to something completely new. They rearrange hierarchies, opinions of good/bad taste and other ideas we take for granted, often in a humorous way. A humor that gathers its energy from the absurd reality we all try to take part of.
The exhibition was supported by Nordiska Kulturfonden and Kulturfonden för Sverige och Finland
